Embry-Riddle Women's Soccer is delighted to announce the signing of Carissa Frazier for the 2010 season. The 5'7" Forward/Defender comes to us from Federal Way, WA, and she continues the tradition of talented players joining the Lady Eagles from the Evergreen state. A four year varsity starter for Decatur High School, Carissa was twice named SPSL All-League. She plays her club soccer for the Federal Way United Reign, who compete in the extremely tough Washington Premier Soccer League. Lady Eagles Head Coach Todd Poitras comments, " I am very excited Carissa will be joining us next season. She is a very versatile player, and really can be used anywhere on the field." He continued on, "Her strength, work ethic, and shooting ability are ideal to play up top for us. However, she's equally tough on the backline. Basically she will really add depth everywhere, as she's an extremely well rounded player." A 3.5 GPA student, Carissa plans to major in Aeronautical Science.
Fun Fact About Carissa: She will be joining her older sister and soon to be teammate Kiley at ERAU, who is currently a junior, and All-Conference defender for the Lady Eagles.
